About Temple

Rin Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple near Omkareshwar-Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga has been the center of faith for Millions of Devotees for years. This Temple is situated in the main Parikrama route of Omkareshwar, near Triveni Sangam of Narmada and Kaveri river. It is believed that by participating in Puja here, one gets the blessings of Lord Shiva immediately. There is an age-old tradition of donating Gold in this Temple to get rid of Financial Debts. In the absence of gold, Devotees can also pray to Lord Rin Mukteshwar to get rid of the Debts by offering yellow gram lentils,which are also related to the Jupiter or Guru. Here, first Shri Ganesha and Mata Gauri are worshipped. Than the Navagraha Mandal Pujan takes place after which the Rin Mukti Havan is performed by chanting special mantras of Lord Shiva to get freedom from Debts. Along with this, Rudrabhishek Puja is also performed to get Blessings of Lord Shiva.
